This project involved dismantling a failing historical boundary wall and restoring it to its original state which involved re-using any sound original bricks then supplementing them with matching new handmade bricks. The original ornate stone copings were re-bedded. Traditional lime mortars were experimented with until the desired period look was achieved, ensuring the wall seamlessly blended in with the original house. New stone kerbs and a gravel drive drew you towards the original gates which were secured in position by hidden steel posts in the centre of the brick pillars.
