This rear extension and loft conversion consisted of totally removing the existing roof and constructing a new one with increased head height and dormers. The house was kept water tight throughout the build by means of a temporary roof constructed with scaffolding and sheets. This project featured on a full episode of the series ‘Make my home bigger’ on the Home Channel which followed the job from start to completion.

The rear extension included high spec aluminium sliding doors and roof lantern and appeared in a three page feature in the ‘Good Homes’ magazine. A coloured render was applied to the external face to complete the contemporary look.
